The aim of this course is to properly understand the design and operation of power stations. For this a knowledge of thermodynamics is required, so this title examines the principles of the steam cycle. It uses three examples of different kinds of power generation units to highlight variations in coolant properties.
Course Modules:
- Forms of Energy
- Enthalpy and Entropy
- Properties of Water and Steam
- Steam Cycles
- Assessment
The average course completion time is one hour 20 minutes.
