The aim of this course is to explain the requirements of PUWER 98.
It is for all employers who provide work equipment to their employees and to self employed persons working for them.

- Inspection – (5 mins)
- Specific Risks – (5 mins)
- Information, Instruction and Training – (5 mins)
- Conformity with Community Requirements – (5 mins)
- Dangerous Parts and Specified Hazards – (10 mins)
- High or Very Low Temperature – (5 mins)
- Controls and Control Systems – (15 mins)
- Isolation From Sources of Energy – (5 mins)
- Stability, Lighting and Maintenance Operations – (5 mins)
- Markings and Warnings – (5 mins)
- Mobile Work Equipment – (15 mins)
- Self Test – (5 mins)
20 questions covering each of the previous 13 modules.
Results are stored for later retrieval by training supervisors
The average course completion time is 1 hour and 35 minutes.
